Pam simply has “the touch" when it
comes to art. Always a conceptualist open to new ideas, Pam began
her formal art studies at age thirteen, although she was always
drawn to translating emotion and events into art. Throughout her
professional artistic career she has explored many expressive
formats including Watercolor, Oil, Acrylic, Pen & Ink, and Pastels.
She has also found expression as a Sculptress and a Carver. Her
talents across many media are expressed in styles ranging from
impressionistic to realism.
Beyond her studies in Fine Art, which she
also teaches, Pam has a background in Mechanical Drafting. This has
enabled her to develop not only superb hand/eye co-ordination, but
excellent drawing skills as well. This results in a very direct
style with a fresh look of strong composition and line. Simply, her
work has a visual harmony achieved by balanced composition and color
integration.
Additionally, Pam brings her background as a
Registered Nurse to her compositions. Pam's skilled hand, and faith
in the human spirit has allowed her art to evolve and transcend what
others can only express in mere words. Pam's love and passion is
reflected in all her work, expressing the strength of the human
spirit as well as the beauty of nature.
Pam lives in a small town in the beautiful
Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where the serene landscape provides
inspiration and motivation for her truly beautiful works of art.
